Leonard Cohen
Original acrylic painting by Keith Hemsley
About the painting
Leonard Cohen is a striking, understated portrait that captures the contemplative presence associated with the celebrated Canadian singer-songwriter, poet, and novelist Leonard Cohen (1934–2016).
The painting combines a restrained composition with powerful colour contrasts, creating an image that feels both intimate and iconic.
Leonard's songs proved the inspiation for this set of paintings.
